Going To Hell Sundays returns to the Calgary stand-up comedy scene in 2011 with a special fund raising show. Just before Christmas, the very funny comedian Jocko Alston passed away. He left behind a young daughter for whom a trust fund has been established. On January 16, 2011 the Going To Hell Sundays show will be presented to raise money for this fund. Tickets will be $20 and are available at the door. As always, The Balance Lounge & Eatery will be the venue. Show time is 8:00PM, but with this being such a special event you will want to get there early to guarantee your seat.
If you attend any comedy shows in the near future, this is the one to be at. The headliner is the hilarious (former-Calgarian) Allyson Smith and she’ll be backed up by the best that Calgary has to offer.
