Calgary isn’t just home to some great comedy clubs – it’s home to some local comedians creating amazing opportunities for new and old comedians alike. These ambitious people set out to create comedy rooms that are free from all of the politics of the industry. In the process they give new comedians their first shot at the stage, and give professionals a place to work out new material. Until now there has been no central place for these rooms online… now there is.
CalgaryComedy.ca strives to be the source for comedy-related news in Calgary – especially from the independent rooms showcased on our site. The main feature of the website is our email newsletter. For those “Comedy Fans” out there, you’ll receive a monthly email (no more than that – we promise) with all the comedy happenings for the upcoming month. You can join the newsletter using the form to the right of every page on the website.
